Default audi 80 1993 SHOCK ABSORBER PROBLEM

Hi

My Audi 80 2.0E Auto (1993) has just failed its MOT. One of the problems is that one of thefront shock absorber mounts has "excessive movement". The problem is with the upper attachment.

In your experience is this something that can be simply sorted by fitting in aNEW shock absorber mount (I am told this is simply a rubber mount on the top end of theshock absorber) ?

Please let me know. Also is the shock absorber mount easily available at any dealer or does it have to be purchased through an Audi dealer ?

Thanks. !
