Hey All,
Just bought this car a couple of months ago. It's good overall. Replaced the rocker cover gasket 2 days ago after getting wrong one from dealer. Fitted though. Anyway, i'm looking through the archives i can't find many problems with this model/ year of car. I think in the states it's called a 4000 or something. Dunno?. The info i'm after if anyone can help is.

1) Whats the American version called so i can look stuff up on the archivesmyself.

2) Has anyone had any major issues with the car? If so what? And more importantly how much to fix.?

3) What they did to fix in the easiest way?

4) And finally any other info on this model that anyone might think could be usefull to a first time audi owner looking to do most of the work myself. I have no guides or manuals so any links or diagrams would be of great help too.

If anyone could help even in the smallest way i would be really gratefull.

its still classed as an Audi 80/90 in the states and nearly all parts are interchangeable

no problem mate if you need any data I have loads, things to have a looks at are fuel lines-timing belt and tension-power steering leaks-suspension, the usual body wise they are solid and always look good, engines are bullet proof so to say if looked after
