Default Weird A4 3.0 CVT problem

Hi All ,

I recently bought a 2003 A4 3.0 CVT with Triptronic, love the car except for a weird interrmittent problem with the transmission.Intermittently when you start up the car , put your foot on the brake and shift into reverse the car will “ jump backwards “ and you have to jam your foot down on the brake to stop the car moving backwards. It feels just like when you try and start a stick-shift in gear with the clutch out.Brought it in to the dealer but “ they couldn’t reproduce the problem, and all the systems checked out ok “ so go away and stop bothering us ……

Has anyone heard about this or experienced it ??

Thanks.
