Havent owned an Audi. Just MBs. Fun to drive but always been concerned about maintenance and reliability of these cars. Currently looking at a '96 A6 - not quattro- with 135k one owner. What are known issues of this model? Per MSN Carpoint, seems to be mostly A/C related problems (outdor temp display, AC temp reg flap motor and load signal ckt to CC ECU)and minor tranny problem(they don't say what exactly except $90 for parts and $520 for labor).

Any feedback for a newbie to Audi? Thanks.
