what model for a big guy

Hey everyone! My name is Frank and I am a big guy and was wondering what model of car to get for a big guy. So if you know what one has a lot of room. I am about 6'5" and big. Thanks for the help.

Q7 would be your best bet. but their rather pricey. you'd love an A8 and could probly get away with an A6, but i would suggest the A8.

Hi Frank. I'm a fairly tall guy myself, i'm around 6'3 and find that the A6 provides me plenty of room while still leaving plenty of room in the back if someone happens to be back there.

I would suggest the A8 if you have the money and are looking for a truly big car however if not the A6 will do fine. My advice would be to test drive each of them and see how you feel.

Are you looking to buy new or used?

i'm thinking of getting a used car. I'm not to sure about the q7 i don't like the suv. About how many mpg do you get in a a6 and a8 and how many miles can you get out of them.

I'm 6'4" and just under 250lbs, and my B5 A4 is fine - I don't even have the seat all the way back and I'm very comfortable in the car. I can even move the seat forward about 3" from my normal position and put my 2 year old son behind me in his car seat, and while not ideal, it's far from uncomfortable (I could drive it easily for a few hours or more that way). I have no problems with working the clutch like that either. There's a LOT of adjustability in the car to get everything the way you want it (ie, tilt/telescope wheel, and a bunch of seat adjustments), so I doubt you'd have any trouble. If I had two adults in the back, it'd be tight on someone's legs sitting behind me, but that's about the only way it'd be trouble.

Best bet is to go test drive each model and see which gives you the best mix of comfort, adjustment, and price, and go from there.

Definitely not a good idea normally - we're usually snowblind and cabin-fevered by now. However, considering that right now it's about 40 degrees with only a little rain and a total of 1/4" of snow for the year, you'd probably be OK;)
