Default questions about the nav system

Hello,
I'm considering an 02 A8. In comparing it to some other cars i'm considering, the only thing i don't like is that the nav isn't a map style. How do you guys like it? How do you input u r desitnation?
Thanks, veso

Default Based my buying decision on an 01 w/ Nav

I purchased my 01 A8L for many reasons...one being the Nav. system.
I had seen many 99's in real nice shape but the one that stood out was the 01 w/ Nav.
I have had my car for about 1 month (or so) and REALLY like it...
The Nav system is a bit of a pain in the azz to use...the rotary dial chooses the town then street name,a bit of an effort to use but once the info is loaded the system works well, since i have owned the car i have used it a few times...i like it so far.

Navigation Plus is not that bad. You can always consider installation of RNS-E. It is not common in A8 but doable.
