1995 Audi a6 need help stat!!!!!!
 

Next weekend we are going to look at a used 95 audi a6 quatro to buy. 131,000 miles for 3700, is this a good deal? One major problem, to me, is that the head unit does not work. For christmas i got a alpine head unit that i was intending to use in our boat. I talked to crutchfield and they said the bose system would not work. After reading on here i found the reason why, most car speakers are 4ohm, boses are 2ohm. Will i need to rewire my whole stereo system for it to work or is there another way? Also is there some type of wiring harness that can be purchased so that I don't have to splice the wires coming out of the ALpine HU? Is there anything I need to remove the audi HU as well.

Correction it does not have the bose stereo in it.
