Hi,

I'm looking for some mods to get the real potential of the 4.2 TT but it seams like there is not a lot of stuff for that car.
Could you help me finding some nice stuff ?

I've already ordered:
-GruppeM air intake system
-EVOMS BOV
-NGK PFR8B Laser Platinum plugs
-Bosch Motorsport 5.0 bar fuel pressure regulator
-ADVAN CONNOISSEUR No.151C DARK GUN METALLIC 19" wheels

What I'm looking for now is a Bosh high flow fuel pump and high flow Bosh injectors but I don't know which I should buy.
I'm also looking for a free flow (no cats) complette exhaust system but it seams that they're all sportcat ... and I hate cats.
I know that MTM is doing mods on the two K04 of the car but is there a bolt on turbo which can get a better flow than the stock one ?

After reading a little bit you forum it looks like there is many different version of the K04 (k04-15 , k04-20, k04-23, ko4-25 ...) ... all I know about mine is that it's refference is K04 53049700028 077145703P.

Thanks for your help and hope to share with you the transformation of my first AUDI.

Be careful, I hear that the rs6 tranny doesn't take well to many mods.  The power limitations on it are almost already reached so just be careful with adding some extra horses if you don't want to be looking into a new transmission.

we had an MTM stage 2 RS6 at the shop for a couple weeks making 585hp or so, the tranny held up fine.  Apparantly its was tuned to 650hp at some prior date but it was too much for the transmission.  So either keep it below 600, or build a more stout tranny.

It looks like we are going for a 600-650 HP mod has I already asked someone to build me a K24 turbo conversion.
What would you do on the transmission ? cryo treatment ?

Guys, I need your help. I have this big squeak noise coming from my brakes, whenever I stop. The dealer just changed the brakes when I purchased the cat last month, and ever since, its been making noise, or grinding. They are telling me its because they are performance brakes. But that is BS. What about Porsche etc. Has anyone experienced this on the RS6 before, and if yes, do you know what the problem is?

Thanks

actually, it is not bs. On my dad's old Aston Martin, the brakes squeeked insanely when your just pushing down on it lightly. But if you get on it and push it hard, it doesn't squeek.

Yea but, when I test drove it, they were great. Then they changed the brakes, so I can have new ones, and it started. I think that they possibly forgot to adjust the roters. I mean, my friend has an S4, another friend has a WRX Sti, and someone else has a Z. The brakes do not squeak. I can understand, a small squeak from time to time. But not every single time. Then, when they dont squeak, they grind. So there has to be a problem. Going to check it out tomorrow. Thanks

since you have an rs6 and those happen too be fairly expensive cars i figure you have some funds too spare..........sooo...i thought of this solution

have vast performance build up your stock tranny then get some gt36 turbos with custom tuning and you will prob have the fastest rs6 ever lol

RS6, squeaking breaks is normal for new breaks. They will probably squeak for a month or so before they get broken in. You can try the anti-squeak lubes or w/e but you might as well throw away money if you're going to buy those. Just give it some time and it'll probably stop squeeking. On my friends Escalade the brakes still squeak periodically and its been almost two months since they got an entire new brake system, rotors, calibers, everything. Just give it time and your dealer isnt lieing to you.

The squeaking probably comes from your ceramic pads which are known to squeak. It's no big deal unless you really can't stand it, than you can just get a different kind of pad.

Thanks guys, the squeaking is almost non existent at this point, it was until the new pads adjusted to the rotors. I had another issue, that I realized when driving on the highway at high speeds, the car doesnt feel comfortable at all. I would figure that it would blow to 100mph, and cruise, but my fiance's '2.0T A4 feels better than the RS6. Any suggestions?
