Default Stevens Creek European, and checking auction sale price?

First off, does anyone have any experience with Stevens Creek European in San Jose, CA? I'm thinking of purchasing a car there and am just checking up on them.

Second, is there any way to find out what price a car was sold for at an auction? The car I'm looking at buying was purchased at an auction according to carfax, and I'm wondering what they bought it for so I have a better negotiating stance. When buying new we can look up invoice, but when buying used, how do you really know?

Thanks
-Joseph

Default RE: Stevens Creek European, and checking auction sale price?

replying to my own post here, FYI in case anyone searches this forum for "Stevens Creek European" (San Jose, CA). My experience at the dealer was very good. I haggled hard with them and feel that I got a fair deal. They only played a little bit of the "I'm fighting with my manager, I'm on your side" bullshit game with me. It was pretty straight forward and everyone there was pleasant to deal with!

I'd recommend buying there for anyone in the market.

Default RE: Stevens Creek European, and checking auction sale price?

i bought my a3 there and they treated me very well. they gave little for my trade, but my passat had 110K miles and was not really in good shape. I negotiated 500 over invoice, i could have done a little better, but oh well....maybe when i get my s4 i will have better luck
nice dealership overall. i'm thinking on putting the stage 1 APR on my A3, does anyone know how stevens creek is with tuned cars?

Thanks in advance
