Default engine painting

Hey,

I want to paint the engine pieces like the intake cover and engine cover the same color as my car.

has anybody done this before?

what do i need to buy paint wise? e.x. primer, base,

What brand do u suggest?

Im really new to painting so give me some help.

Default RE: engine painting

Well, for starters, if you are painting under the hood, its good to first remove what it is you are painting, and give a good cleaning, to reduce overspraying something that doesnt need paint.

Obviously you need to use heat resistant paint

Duplicolour makes a good engine paint in lots of different colours.
