Default BBS wheels, german trend?

Are BBS wheels the german car trendy kinda wheel? I seem to notice that most Audis and BMW's are running BBS wheels. Also, what's the standard size for daily drivers? I know 18" looks great, but how is the ride quality?

I really like the ASA AR2 which is similair to the BBS style but a lot cheaper.

i believe asa is make by bbs. that is why they look similar.

18's are good but it depends what kind of suspension and car you have

if you have a b5 a4 NON-sport, with 17's and up, it will look ridiculously horrible and awkward

that is all i know

no, asa wheels are defenitly NOT build by bbs. this rim which is posted is produced under bbs licence. you can not compare the quality of this wheels.... but if you want some nice looking rims tha asa´s are okay so far.
