A4 2.8/ Supercharging
 

Does anyone out there have a supercharger on their car and can give me info on real world performance, drivability and durability. The PES unit looks nice but have yet to meet someone who has one.

I've only heard great things about the PES kit. Never heard of any long time problems or reliability issues. Go for it man!

stock 2.8's are slow/sluggish...the PES supercharger gives it the power you want/need without any hassle. It drives like it was a upgrade option from Audi...no problems what so ever, and this isnt just my experience.

I know this is an old thread but no one seems to know about the PES G2's here

I have one on my 2001 A4. I have over 60,000 miles on the supercharger and have had 0 problems. I drive extensivly for work and have driven the car on 10 hour drives with no problems. Always starts right up in any temperatures -30 to 120. The kit is easy to install and takes about 6 hours. There 1s a little bit of blower whine..and if you get on it people look at you funny...sounds like a small jet. If you are considering buying one wait untill the winter, around christmass PES always puts it on sale, about 800.00 off. My only recommendation is getting an extra belt with the kit if it breaks its not an easy belt to get. I have hit about 130mph and the car pulls all the way thru. ^^^^ about how much hp does it put out now with the supercharger? is the increase very noticeable? and whats the 0-60?
