To you 335i bashers, allow me to clarify a few things:

BMW 335i Sedan MSRP: $40,800 (starting) - with PROcede $42,100.
Audi RS4 MSRP: $66,000
Difference: $25,200; with PROcede $23,900

Winner: BMW

Performance
BMW 335i
Our 335i similarly scalded the quarter-mile in 13.3 seconds at 105.9 mph. For comparison, our 2005 M3 Competition Package used up 5.5 seconds getting to 60 and finished the quarter-mile in 13.7 seconds at 105.4 mph — close, but still a rearview-mirror performance. We almost beat the all-powerful 2007 Audi RS4, too. Despite a 120-horsepower advantage and all-wheel-drive launch superiority, it just nicked our 335i's 0-60 and quarter-mile times by a paltry 0.1 second each.

2007 Audi RS4
A 4.2-liter V8 engine powers the Audi RS 4. Equipped with direct fuel injection and sporting a 12.5:1 compression ratio, this powerhouse makes 420 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox (the only transmission offered) sends the power to all four wheels through Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system, which has a 40/60 front-to-rear power split in this application. During instrumented testing conducted by Inside Line, an RS 4 shot to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 13.2 seconds at nearly 107 mph.

Winner: RS4 (by .01 seconds on 0-60 and 1/4 mile - does this deserve paying $25,000 more for a .01 second improvement...wait there's more)

Hmm...didn't see any Audi awards
Winner: self explanatory

What happens when you add a $1300 upgrade to the 335i????
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Followup/articleId=119485

This incendiary performance puts the cooking 335i in the same league as dedicated performance pieces like the Audi RS 4 and the Mitsubishi Evo IX — cars that don't come close to offering the Bimmer's stealth factor.

Sixty mph arrives in 4.6 seconds and the quarter-mile flashes by in 13.0 seconds at 109 mph, 0.3 second quicker than the last stock 335i with an automatic transmission that we tested. And that's quicker than any stock Evo or Audi RS 4 we've ever tested.

Lastly, what happens when you have PROcede (only $1300) and use 93 octane gas

Now which car is better????

Some people have to much time on there hands to join a forum just to say all that. This is funny. I look at the top of page and it says audiforums. I think we will be a little biased.

This guy is Jealous, Only 1000 .......,  2007 B7 RS4s for the whole North American Market. How many 335i are out there? Plus the RS4 is a "family" sedan with 4 doors that my wife agreed to let me purchase.

I think what upsets the competition is that whenever Audi feels like making a sports car or sedan, they do it, and do it better.  It's like one morning Audi wakes up and say's....."(yawwwn) mmm I think we should build a couple of high end sports cars to compete with the market" and they excell in many ways than one.  Porsche, bmw, mercedes have been building the same models and improving them over & over through the course of many years.  Audi builds the R8 and blows everyone away!.  I think the competition knows that if Audi really wants to, they can shred, no doubt:) The competition just can't handle it.

plus motor trend tested the rs4 months ago and got a 4.5 sec 0-60 time even though the rs4 was rated at 4.8 sec 0-60 which means that a stock rs4 is faster then that modded 335i by .1 sec
