My car has a modify`ed ECU and a stronger wastegate spring( 0,8 bar). I was wondering what has been done to my ECU? Does my ECU give me more fuel preassure, or do i need to install a bigger pump and a preassure regulating valve....
I am a newbee here, so please give me some straight up anwers..??

The ECU doesn't control the system pressure that is preset, it can be adjusted but it’s a pain to do since it can only be accessed through one of the fuel fittings. The ECU controls the differential pressure regulator which in turn controls the amount of fuel going to the injectors.

The pump is inside the fuel tank, on the sedan it is a real PITA to get to. If you increase the system pressure you might need to recalibrate your ECU and/or mixture, don't really know the exact degree of complexity. By increasing the system pressure you might actually rob yourself of fuel volume and shorten the life of the pump. The stock system is capable of delivering a bit more then for what it was intended. If you are afraid of running too lean I suggest you get yourself Air/Fuel ratio meter and carefully wire it to your existing 02 sensor or weld on an additional sensor.
