Default just drove it home

Just parked it in the garage a few minutes ago. 2003 A4 1.8t Auto Tiptronic quattro. Canvas beige metallic w/beigeleather. Premium pkg., Bose upgrade, cold weather, and 17" alloys. Wanted the A4 3.0, looked at the A6 3.0, but decided they were too much car for me. Am very happy with my decision. Looking forward to participating in this forum.

They make some great body kits for the B6 A4.

Would like to, but I think my mod days are behind me. Swore I would never own another German car after having a Porsche 914 and a Mercury Capri when I was younger. Am 46 now, and the only mods I think my wife will go for are tinting andpainting the lower panels. Am interested in replacing the fiberglass trim in the interior with the burlwood from the A4 3.0. Are there any diy kits out there for the interior trim?

Ha, 914, just today, the guys at my work shoe-horned a '91 911 Carrera 4 3.2L H-6 into one of them. 3.2L Carrera engine + 1300lb 914 = helluva race car.

If you ever want more power, consider a mild boost chip upgrade, they are by far the most bang for the buck on the 1.8Ts.
