Ive used the search button alot and have found great information but i have a couple of more questions

1. How badly would the supercharger kill my fuel efficeny
2. Would i have to switch to a high grade fuel
3. Are there any heat issues involved with a super charger

i know that some of the questions are dumb but im very currious
also i believe that i have the 30v 2.8 but my grandfather isnt sure any help in finding this out would be greatly appreciated(as you can tell im very very new to the audi scene as well as S/C scene)

1. What are you getting now? It all dipends on how much you push the car.
2. You suppose to use highest grade on Stock engine.
3. Heat, ye a bit, mostly combustion temperature, not the underhood temperature.

Building in process of a SC system, soon, hopefull I will start selling.
You probably do have 30V, so you can get a PES one.

1.Im in the process of searching and reviewing and i havent really pushed the car yet
2. I wasnt sure if i had to get anything higher than 93 octane fuel
3. So i wont need to ramp up my cooling system at all

besides a larger exaust is there anything else i should concider doing before i get into the supercharger world

1) Shouldn't have much of an effect on MPG, but your right foot will if you use the newfound power a lot, lol.
2) Premium octane (91-93) fuel will work fine. Aftermarket street application supercargers are designed to work w/ premium fuel in most cases.
3) Heat issues are much lees of a problem w/ sc's than they are w/ turbos. That said, you should be okay w/ any increased temps, as they will befairly minor.
4) Is the supercharger you're looking at centrifugal?? I'm guessing yes, but even if it's not, most supercharger kits are designed as a whole and include reprogrammers or chip, etc to take care of issues that arise w/ forced induction. Factors such as timing, air/fuel ratio (fuel injectors have compensate for increased airflow supercharging results in) need to be considered, especially if you go upping the boost.

Yep, exept a lot of companies will not provide open chips to you. Rater ether they will send you a substitute, or you send in your ECU to be chiped and reprogrammed. With our cars the only problem is high compresion, which can be counteracted with retarded timing and reached fuel system.
But our cars can do 9psi if needed.

I was reading in the PES G2 supercharger kit that they use the M62 is it fesable(if thats how you spell it) to use the M90 or is that just way to much power and not worth the extra money and effort

There be no gain in performence if to use M90 over M62 at same boost. However, with M90 the thing can be more gentel on the belt.

I have read some places that the M90 is capable to produce more boost than the M62 is this true?
