Default Car vibration when accelarating, and other possibly relevant problems.

Hi,
Got a Multitronic gearbox, on my A4 1.9 tdi.
Lately when I accelate no matter the rpm I get vibrations which vary in intensity
(sometimes it feels like the car is shaking).
Its not only on the wheel. You can feel it wherever you are in the car.
Any ideas what might be wrong? Is it the gearbox? or could it be something else?
Additionally sometimes I hear a loud "click" noise coming from the right front wheel,
when I start accelareting while turning, but this does not seem to relate with the
vibration which is constant during accelaretion.
When I lift my foot from the gas pedal the car runs smoothly..

Regards
Lucen

Im not an expert or anything but i read somewhere that if you have quattro and are starting from a dead stop with the wheels turned thats its just the the car transfering torque to the wheels.

Usually if you have a bad CV joint it will click....If its real bad it could cause a vibration.

Probably a bad CV Joint - the clicking should be a definite indicator of a CV Joint.

had the same problem with mine and it was a little vacume hose that had gotten brittle and upon acceleration it would close not allowing the secendary valve to open and would cause the motor to vibrate only upon acceleration...check all your vacume hoses make sure they are not brittle or soft its tidious work but worth it...good luck..

anything with your driveline could cause a vibration inspect halfshaft, drive shafts, diff's, transfer case. misaligned gears in that new gear box you got can do it to
