We are in the process of compiling comparative logs of a stock valve, a 004, a 007 and the SplitR.
So far with over 6 months of testing the SplitR has no detrimental effects, as verified by VAG-COM. Anyone stating the opposite does so without the benefit of evidence and as such their claims are unfounded. |

Question for Patty,
I heard that the other problem with using BOVs on VW is that the valve remains open during idle which causes the engine to suck in unfiltered air. Since this is 50% BOV does the valve remains open on the BOV side when the engine is idling? |
RE: Forge The Splitter, a Recirculation and Blow Off Valve
NYCeTT,
The valve is engineered in such a way that the piston does not lift at idle. |
