Default cold air intake

Whats up,
Just installed a cold air intake i made myself into the a4. It was pretty easy getting the stuff to fit, but a pain in the neck removing the box. For those of you that wanted something to do a blow off valve just for the sound - this is the way to go. You can hear the turbo spool and def. hear the diverter valve. Does anyone have any ideas as to whether the intake will raise the psi and add hp, or if it will instead lower the psi and hp.
Thanks.

Default RE: cold air intake

if you havn't installed a heat shield between the intake filter and exhaust manifold I suggest you do otherwise you'll be sucking hot air right off of it. You won't see much power gain as the audi air box is already quite efficient but if you like turbo and bypass valve noise your'e in luck
