Default Tinting Tail lights

A few questions... I know there is that one thread on the ultimate audi dyi thing about how to tint your tail lights, but there are no pics. Does anyone have any suggestions on this or experience? Also with regard to the paint, can you buy an acrilic based automotive paint in black? Would you think this would work? Please advise!!!

I was going to use "Tester" paint from a model or R/C shop it can be removed with alcohol if needed.

I went with the tint paint from the hobby shop becuase if you mess up you can remove it with some alcohol and you have control on how dark they come out.

Most tint shops or something of that sort some tailights by applyling something like they do on the windows to tint your car, but instead its special for your tailights and they custom cut the clear part for you.
