Whats the gas mileage like on an A6
 

I have an 2000 Audi S4 6spd and gas is kiiling me no joke I get about 180 and when driving slower 200 to a tank I'm think of getting a A6 3.0 and I would like to know what you guys get on a full tank ( around 300). And if a 2.7T get better mileage that would be greatI would go with the 2.7T.

I get about 18 mpg for my 2.7T, in a mix of mostly expressway commuter driving. On a long road trip, it would probably get around 22. Strictly city is 15 mpg max.

Remember, it is a 2 ton car.

I get around 22 with my 00 2.8l with 90% hwy. I can get 27 if I go 60mph with the cruise on. 16-19 city.

edit: I use 87 octane.

My 2.7t gets spectactularly bad mileage unless I stay out of the turbos...but where is the fun in that?

My '99 uses about 15 L/100km on average mostly city driving if I drive carefully, less if its winter and i'm having huge fun in the snow obviously. On the highway I can get it down to around 10 or 11 L/100km

My 2000 2.7T gets about 22 mpg mostly highway. I thought it would be at least 26 or 28, but the weight is a factor and I puch it alot to get around slow drivers.

I get between 20 and 24 mpg mixed driving mostly city. Highway only cruise locked on 75mph I can get almost 30mpg.

I have an '01 2.7T, and I average about 22-24mpg for normal driving, which is mostly (85%) highway driving. I don't tend to get on the loud pedal very hard daily, though on the weekends....that's another story.

As for run distance......340-360 miles on a full tank of 91 octane.

Believe it or not my 99 a6 quattro wagon still gets on average ~21 mpg.
