Default 1999 A6 2.8L Quattro (Turbo Upgrade) RS6

Hey whats up guys this is my first post and i was hoping you guys can help me out? Well i have a 1999 2.8L A6 Quattro AWD and ive had this car for 2.5 years and i decided its time to let the silent german beast unleash under the hood. I can across a few junk yards that have 2.7T turbo kits as well as the Bi-Turbo kits and i was tempted to know if i can add theese puppies to my car with some weekend grease work?

Here is my shopping list:

1 Turbo Kit of a 2.7T A6
1 Ported Turbo Manifold (Nice and Wide)
1 HKS compact Intercooler
1 HKS Super Squential Blow Off Valve (or Two if i get the Bi-Turbo)
1 Pes Tunning Performance Chip (Tiptronic Ready)
1 Custom Wastegate
1 Custom INJEN Cold Ait Intake
1 Borla Exhaust System Or FlowMaster if My pockets are running Low

And after Im Done with the performance ill go for the looks:

1 Audi Euro R Carbon fiber Hood
1 RS6 Front Bumper (Custom Made for the A6 2.8L)
1 RS6 Rear Bumper with Chrome Cut-Offs for the Dual Exhaust
2 RS6 Sideskirts
2 RS6 Aliminum Rear View Mirrors
1 RS6 Spoiler Wing
2 Carbon Fiber Audi Logos For Front and Rear
And a Set of Aftermarket 18" Audi Wheels (Gunmetal) With Toyo Fz4 tires

This Mod Will cost around $5,000.00 Since i researched all the part prices and labor including some Wholesale purchases with my Resale No.

But before this project begins i want to make sure i can upgrade my turbo or in other words add the turbo kit to my Stock Audi?

Is this Trubo Upgrade possible?

Thanks Guys,

Deekay

The turbo kit off the 2.7T won't just bolt up to your 2.8 won't work your best bet would be and saave you a lot of cash and time if you want to make a RS6 would be sell your 2.8 buy a 2.7T then go to APR or AWE and get the K04 conversion you can still do all this other work sounds good but you will not be able to bolt up the 2.7 K03's to your 2.8 and by any chance if you did somehow do this there is no programing out there for the 2.8 to run those turbo properly either

the kit mite fit, cuz the 2.7 t engine is just a modified 2.8 engine with 2 turbos right?

The blocks are physically the same but the internals are different. The compression ratio is lower on the turbo cars. The fuel system and vacuum system are completly different between the two. Its alot more work than just bolting on a couple turbos.
