Just got VAG-COM. Want to check two things:

1. Engine: it seems hard to start if let it sit for sometime
2. Seat: my seat memory function just does not work

Can anyone tell me what should I look for in VAG-COM for these two issues? Thanks for the help in advance.

First thing to do is an Auto Scan.  You'll probably have lots of codes, but you really want to see which ones are active.  Save the scan results.  Go into each module that was showing fault codes and clear them.  After you  drive the car a couple days, go back and run an Auto Scan again.  Any codes you see then will be the active codes you need to deal with.  Post the codes and maybe someone will be able to help.
