I just recently purchased a 97 audi a4 2.8 quattro and i must say i love the car. This is my first audi and my only complaint is that the car feels alittle under powered. i bought the 2.8 over the 1.8t because of this problem but it seems that i still want more. im looking for recomendations on intake, headers, and exhaust that would give me decent noticable power gains but yet still keep noise down and stay low key. any help would be appreciated.

well first off u went the wrong way in buyin a 2.8 for performance...headers will be hard to come by. they used to make em but i think the discontinued em. as for exhaust i think miltek has one but they are a 1000 and a little rumbly if u like that...kinda like a mustang rumble. u can get cams, a intake from like lltek, apr, evoms.com, or ebay, also most people usually just go custom exhaust by the way...u can also chip it. they other big thing is to s/c it but thats 5k. theres all ur options and thats all u have.

I dont beileve i bought the wrong model for performance more like its the one that u cant just crank boost and get power. Im planning on the pes supercharger which should jump it up too about 300 hp. Then after a couple other things jumping it to around 350 thats plenty for me guys. How much power does the average 1.8t tuner make? I dunno i also wanted the 2.8 for some torque. LOL i cant imagine what a stock 1.8t feels like. i think the 2.8 is underpowered haha. but thanx for the advice. Im really just looking for a nice intake and a mean sounding exhaust nothing ricy man. any suggestions would be appreciated.
