Default shopping for a 2004 S4, asking for advice

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I'm also hoping to become an Audi S4 owner for the first time soon.

I guess the main question I have is how reliable Audi's are (more specifically a 2004 S4)?

In my opinion, German cars beat Japanese cars in pretty much every aspect, but one thing for sure is that Japanese cars are very reliable. What can you guys say about German (audi) cars? (Gimme the truth!)

PS: Can anyone be nice enough to give me a free carfax report? VIN: waupl68e74a261938 my email is hulao2(at)gmail.com

thanks
hubie

hmmm no buy the carafax, what your asking is basically stealing so no..........secondly audis are expensive to own, parts are expensive labor is expensive maintenace is expensive...the b6 platform comes with more power stock than the b5 platform biut cant be modded nearly as far...the b6 looks more modern and imho isnt beginning to look dated, also the interior is "cushier" best thing u can do to learn is use the search button and read all u can about the s cars and then make your decision

later and welcome to audifoums enjoy your stay ~vnv727

I've only asked if someone could give me a carfax report because I read in other threads that someone did the same thing, and he got help with the carfax report.

but thanks anyways

mhmm well he got bitched at and got the report from a guy on a different audi forum...not trying to be mean but you should support what u use.....plus carfax looks for people giving out free reports on forums and the nice person trying to help u can get screwed so its not really something u ask.....if u insist on stealing use the pm system

anyway back onto the car i think youll really like it, just make sure ur in the right financial situation to maintain and repair the car

later

I TEND TO IGNORE PEOPLE WHO TYPE IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE IT'S IGNORANT.

Now... as for B6 S4's... they are awesome cars. Fast out of the box, great handling, nice interiors, and did I say that they're awesome cars?

they are great cars, i had the choice between a b6 and a b7 i went with the b7 because i think they look a little more aggressive, but they are both pretty much the same cars. the s4 is really quick and there are some mods but they are expensive, also oil changes are about $100, but if your handy with a wrench then you shouldnt worry too much bout maintenence. they are prety reliable if you take care of your car and you dont rag the s*** outta it

good luck ma. wll be looking forward to the pics
