I have had the hardest time finding an intake for my 1997 1.8T Quattro 5-sp A4.  I cheapest one I have found was K&N and besides that one they have all been onver $250.  I am new to the Audi owners and am just starting this project.  I am very eager to start working on this car but so far it has been a bit of a slow start.  Also, do I need a new DV/BOV with an intake?

.....crap, your new so i cant flame you....alright do a darintake, search to learn what that is and how to do it, you dont run bovs on audis......u may want to upgrade your dv but its not necessary if your not chipped.........later

I have been doing reseach on that and it seems that people only do them on the S4. not my A4

I did a version of the darintake where I cut the whole in the bottom of the box and used a K&N replacement filter.  I love the results
