Default Need help on removing residue!

Hello everyone,

i washed my car today and on the hood there was something i thought was a Bird present, but whn i tried to wash it off only the top part came off,
leaving a patch that feels hard as resin or something. could it be treesap? I have no clue how to get it out. Please help!

well goo gone could work, but make try backing soda and water pastefirst to neutralize the acid if it was a bird present

It might be etching from the poop.
If the baking powder stuff doesn't do anything, clay bar it, then go over it with polish & wax.

WD40 penetrating oil works fine and wont damage the paint but will lift that sh1t out then just polish
