Few weeks a go i woke up one beautiful sunny morning and said to my self i want to get a project car Audi A6 2.7T. After few weeks of shopping online i find in one of local news papers 2000 Audi A6 with 18,000 miles!!!! I could not believe it my self! But lets get to bottom point i bought that car from 89 old man who almost never where driving this car... for past 7 years, the car is incredible clean... Only one problem i don't like a color when i saw it but it does not really makes for me any deferents because it is a project car and i will change a color of it... My budget for this car project is limited to $60000.00. I want to get complete new outside look and change sound system plus get some performance work done to it. I will not work by my self on this car i find few shops who will do a body costume works to it and performance... But i'm not sure what exactly should i do to the body from outside... and inside. I spent days online searching for some pictures of complete works on A6's but couldn't find to much... So i want to ask you people to post some great project cars here for me.. so i can get an ideas.

Here is a steps how i want to get work done to it.

1.Change a complete color of the car from blue to some kinda black cypher or something like this...put some kind of body kit change lights on a back to dark ones.
2.Want to find a complete black door panels, dashboard and all other stuff with Recaro seats for the front and back.
3.Install a Sound System. Here what i decide to put it in.

4.Do performance work, change a brakes and suspensions, exoust system, put a chip in maybe turbo upgrade and drop a car a bit but i don't know a lot about it.
5.Do all over around the car chameleon black tints including a wingsheald.
6.Get some hot looking black rims with chrome lips prefers 20” and up.

If you guys have some ideas... or wanna help me work on this project every one very welcome... but i need help only with ideas the rest of the work i want the professionals to do it. The car will be in one of the body shops at Poughkeepsie NY on Friday. I need to think what i want to do with a body and find some great body kit to it and figure out if i want to do something unique to it.

I will start putting pics up on a project as soon they will start working on it.

There are only 2 good body kits I have found. LLtek and Erebuni both make kits for the car. Personally I'm going to go the Erebuni route because I think it makes the car look nice without making the front the new wide-mouth style. You can also go the RS-6 styling route, but it's very subtle by comparison and doesn't sound like it would fit the bill you are looking for. Perhaps something custom is in order? As far as the rest of your plans, the sound system looks great for loudness but not SQ. The kicker solo's get very loud, but distort terribly. The square woofer cone displaces more air but is much less efficient and does not properly recreate acoustics. The best subwoofers on the market for massive volume while maintaining efficiency and SQ are the JL W7's (not my favorite) and the Resonant Engineering XXX. check out REaudio.com.

As far as suspension goes, I recommend coil overs as I'm sure most others will here as well. It allows customizable ride height, and still provides performance and comfort. 20" rims are probably as big as you will want to go. There are alot of options out there for some very nice 20's in a design that will suit the car. For a real trick custom look consider getting the interior of the rim painted the same color as the cars exterior. (Heavy metal flake or pearl makes for a nice look). Also consider up-grades like the Hotchkis Sway bars, AWE DTS (Drive Train Stabilizer), and solid motor and transmission mounts.

Lastly on performance I recommend doing K-04 Hybrids for quick spool up and massive boost production. Stick with GIAC or APR for chipping purposes, and be sure to do your Diverter valves,  APR bi-pipe, and F-hose or that boost will just leak out. Next thing to consider is exhaust. Get some down-pipes, and mate them to a nice stainless cat back system. Milltek is the most popular and best looking in my opinion. The system is polished and looks beautiful. Lastly, for engine cosmetics consider getting the Carbon fiber engine covers that are offerd, it will clean up the engine compartment and make it look real nice. With all that done I think you will have one very nice, very quick, and great handling A6! When you're all done I'll buy it from you, but my budget is $25k =o)

I think that Erubuni and E Strickly Foreign kits are nasty! They look way to "Tuner" looking. They have the look that you would see on rice burners! Audi's are too classy for that nasty sh*t.

OOOO
