Default Noisy valve Train after TB and headgasket..HELP

So I just finished my headgasket and timing belt. I drained my oil and threw on a new oil filter. I started the car up and all I can is my valves. They're ticking like no tomorrow. My timing is set fine so I know it's not that. I pulled the valve cover off and run the car like that for a little bit and it seems like I'm not getting any lubrication in my head other than the quart of oil that I poured all over my cams. I run the car for about 30 seconds and the cams are almost dry again.

Has anyone had this problem or can anyone help me out?? I don't have any oil pressure light on and there's oil in my oil filter..

Also, I have been run the car without the radiator hooked up and no coolant... I don't think that has anything to do with it, and don't worry it hasn't been run long enough to even think about heating up.

Could it be that you installed the wrong head gasket and it covers the oil passages? That would be my only though...

yes, everything is lined up properly, the car actually runs really good...

but, my oil pump was fine before I started so It just seems wierd that all of a sudden its broken.. plus theres oil in the new oil filter so wouldn't that mean its pumping oil up...?

I don't know how it wouldnt be installed right..

I lined the cam sproket up with the mark on the valve cover, and the crank pulley up with the mark on the lower timing belt cover. They were both lined up just about perfect. Cam sproket and valve cover lines were off about 1/2 a tooth because of slack but I thought that was normal.

I'm gona post a vid so you guys can hear it.
