Hi All,
New to the board and need some input. I'm looking at an RS6 with 53K miles on it for $38K. What are the long term issues with the RS6? The car has been well maintained and documented. I have had 2 A6's with no problems (2000 2.8 and 2002 4.2 sport and prem package-currently wife's car). Thanks for your help.

There arent any long term issues with the RS6 as long as you take care of it. I would say buy it. At $38,000, you can even make money if you tried selling it. Depending on the are that you are from. I think that you will feel a big difference in power from the 4.2L, but because of the lack of comfort, sometimes you feel smoother at high speeds with the A6 4.2, than the RS6. But hey, you will have an RS6.
