I saw 2 A5s and 3 R8s today. I live really close to the HQ. They drive by my house all the time. It's pretty sweet.

God it's gorgeous... that black one is the first time I've seen pictures of an actual in-the-metal A5, and it is SO MUCH nicer looking than the CGI ones that've been around for the past few months! And the RS5... biturbo on the 4.2? At last, proof that there is a Car God, and He is good. And He is German.

If I am doing my currency conversions anywhere near properly, this thing is going to come in at roughly $100,000.

It's sweet, but I don't know if it is THAT sweet.

I have herd rumors of it actually being propelled by Audi's 5.2L V10 from the S6 and S8 family. I think it may be too early to tell for sure.

Yeah that RS5 is freakin sweet. That car is gonna be a monster! Just hope the have a six speed with it instead of the autos like bmw did with the m5 and m6 at first.

I'm a BMW M fan, but that picture of the RS5 makes me stop and pause. Class and beauty on four wheels - great, great design. I'mdefinitely going to check it out when it hits the showrooms - could be my next set of wheels!

You can't compare the prices directly by just converting it to USD.

"expect the RS5 to wade in with a £53,000 price tag, in line with BMW’s £50,625 M3."

Unfortanately BMW doesn't list the M3 for the US market so I can't get a price for it. But if it's priced alongside the M3 then it's priced competitively.

From what I've read, my guess is that the RS5 will cost approx $70 - 72K (comparable to the RS4), and the M3 will come in around $62-65K, comparably and well equipped.

i think the RS5 is gonna be a bit more than the RS4, probably close to 80, and i htink m3 might be a bit more like 70 fully loaded

i've never owned an Audi before, and i'm really contemplatinggettingthe S5 since its already available and irefuse towait for the RS. i need a car soon and the S5 is my #1 choice.

problem is taht i'm hearing some negative feedback from some Audi owners(one has owned 2 audis) and claims thataudis are not really reliable cars. Good performance, ride, etc, but reliability is not so great. Can any one can attest to this? I've heardnegative feedfrom 3 of my Audiowninng friends and they take good care of their cars. What are you guys experiences here?

it would be realy helpful becausereliabilitywill MAKEorBREAK wethre i actually buy this car or not.

thanx in advance.

That looks fantastic. In a way, the back half of the car has lines like the original CLK from M-B (which in my book is not a bad thing). That looks great and the power numbers sound good too.

Nah, you won't. The closest color to Dolphin Grey that is available on the B8 Coupes is Meteor Grey. It's much prettier anyway.

Are you kidding? If I had the money, I'd get one in a heartbeat. The S5 is impeccable. An RS5 would be - uhh, what's the step above impeccable? Godlike?
