Welcome back! The S4 control arms won't work. A Meyle kit should hold you over quite well. If you don't know anyone local to you that does euro head work, I recommend BobQ at http://www.qedpower.com/ He does pretty much anything from a valve job to a complete race motor. Juste-mail him with what you need.

How much power would "too fast" equal?

lol thanks, uhhhh well the gearheads are gonna be mad that im goin mildly lol, but i'd be happy with maybe a sport k03 chipped exhaust with nice valve train....i mean with gas prices these days i dont wanna be pushin nothing over like 250 horses. is the k04 really worth the extra price and does it hold up over time(if i rebuild this thing I wanna make sure I get over 100k on it)....oh how is the OEM head setup...i mean does the stock valve train hold up with extra horses and higher redline????

Booooooo!!!

Yes. Yes it is. You can get a brand spanking new one shipped with install hardware for $800 HERE

-does it hold up over time(if i rebuild this thing I wanna make sure I get over 100k on it)
Yes. As long as you let it cool off before shutting your car off, it should be fine. (should= I have no reason or have heard otherwise)

You are fortunate to have the most desirable B5 1.8t. The AEB longitudinal motor has larger intake ports than the post 00 1.8t's. People have run the motor to 8k while drag racing with the stock top end. A K03 or K04 will run out of steam long before the top end goes.

As far as a recommended setup, you may be best off with a K04, high flow cat or test pipe, upgraded diverter valve, and full exhaust. Since you'll be pulling the motor, you should probably change the clutch.

Check out this page for aftermarket parts sites.

ya man a k03 wont get you anywhere near 250hp... a k04 can get you there with the right supporting mods..

just get a k04 and exhaust and chip and fmic and dv and you should be sitting right around 230-250hp.
