Default Expenses After 50,000 miles?

Greetings- My wife and I are considering purchasing one of three cars: Audi A6, BMW 530xi, or Infiniti M35x. A certain part of the items under consideration are the long-term expenses of any of the three. BMW and Audi both seem to have a reputation in the Boston area for costing a huge amount to maintain, after the 50,000 mile point. Of course, the Infiniti would require, at the least, about $1300 worth of maintenance just to get to 50,000 miles. Do forum readers have any opinions about the costs of maintenance/repairs for an A6 beyond 50K? FYI, we generally tend to buy a car, and run it until it has got about 100K on it, then move on to the next. TIA

Default RE: Expenses After 50,000 miles?

The A6 will be a solid car to own. Maintenance costs are relative to the engine option and whether the previous owner maintained the car on schedule.

Between the three, it's quite obvious the Infiniti will be the most affordable, and the BMW will be the most expensive, but the A6 will be the most enjoyable.
