A3 DSG in the 1/4 mile
 

Here are some videos I took last weekend at the drag strip racing my A3

(in the race of the 350Z and GTI,drivers had changed their cars and the guy in the 350Z didnt got all...Normally they make the sames times)

This is at 1500 meter above the sea level in México...Hope you like them

At this altitude my best has been 15.207


I dont know really about the final speed precisely....its about 150 km/h or 140km/h (dont know how much mph haha!)

i see the video and i still don't believe it. How can a stock A3 beat a 350z?? 350z is lighter and has loads more power.

I will excuse the bad words in the second vid, lol, that was pretty funny :D:D:D. Still, I am a little skeptic about the car being stock ... the Z has more power, more torque over a second faster to 100 km/h...

Not at high elevations. So this was at 1500 meter elevation (4921 feet) so turbo's rule!

Bet it was the same guy who drove oddgy friend's EVO.

I also own a G35, and no way can a stock A3 come close to it.

The problem is that NA (Naturally Aspirated) engines are designed to run at sea level. A well designed turbo even at higher altitudes is running at so much boost and effectively getting sea level HP that your NA engine can't achieve. I doubt your G35 runs as good at 5000 feet elevation as sea level!
