Hi,

I will be taking delivery of my V8 Q7 next week. It is GCC specs (middle east)

I was wondering if any of you have done any engine modification or an exhaust modification?

I currently drive a 2002 S8 with a remus muffler exhaust tips.

Let me know,

Thanx yáll

Hi,

So i finally took delivery of my 4.2 Q7, and i upgraded from my 2002 S8.

My S8 had a remus muffler, and apparently you can get the same for the Q7, available for both the V6 and the V8

Just thought would update you y'all

I don't know much about aftermarket exhaust sytems for the Q7, but just make sure to upgrade it with a quality muffler like magnaflow.

Actually, the Magnaflow exhaust are amazing, lots of deep noise, and very throaty. I saw the video of an RS4 with A Magnaflow muffler, its very nice.

However, they dont have anything for the Q7

I checked out Remus.at and they have a product for the Q7, and my 2002 S8 has the remus muffler with tips. It sound excellent, so i am guessing the Q7 will sound as good if not better as it is already a loud car.

Funny to think, i almost bought the RS4 instead of the Q7 !!

I contacted Remus, and they sent me a file of the Reums Muffler and tip sound file. If you would like, private message me your email id, and i will mail you the file.

On a 4.2 engine...i'm pretty sure no matter what exhaust you choose will sound amazing. love the sound of the v8!
...but like it was stated before, make sure you get a quality muffler
