Default '99 A6 Cruise Control Problem

Hello All,

I searched thistopic on the forum and could not pinpoint a fix for my problem. The issueis my cruise control, itsometimes kicks out while driving and by luck it will work periodically-
1) What is the possible source (no codes stored)?
2) Any pix or instruction to fix and cost (if module, where is it located, etc..)
3) Are there recco rebuild companies other than www.autoecu.com?

I have checked all vacuum hoses, fuses and replaced PVC.
'99 A6 2.8 Quattro- 198,330K (runs awesome and 21 mpg city/hwy or 30 mph ave)

Thank you in advanced for your help!

hm, same to me. That's AUDI "bug". My brother got the same. Looks like, we need to change whole CC modul (cost arround 230$).
Also can help to check all hoses and switches. But usual just modul GONE !

hmm, i found what was wrong (i guess). There is two switches attached to brake pedal. One is for brake light and lower one for CC (cruise control). I just did small adjustment and my CC start working property. U have to remove plastick cover ander the stering wheel. Then u can see it. I'm so stupid, i didn't take any picture of it. Sorry, may be nex time But is not hard job to fix it. Also i have schema of whole CC air pipes, to check for some leaking.
Do that switch first and let me know, what's up
