Battery Change! Electrical problems!!!

Last week i had a flat battery in my 1998 A6 SE. I replaced the battery and now the fan keeps working even when it is switched off. Also the lights in the displays keep flashing. Also i can change the temperature of the heaters, but the fan is constantly on full power.

Has anyone had this problem? I think there must be some easy way of resetting them, but i don't know how. I have searched this forum but i can't find anything like this.

Its the fan control module. Or it can be faulty wiring to the fan control module which there is a TSB at audi for installing an overlay harness. Neither one you wanna do yourself, you gonna have to bite the bullet and take it to the dealer here.

Really? Is it just a coincidence that this happened when i changed the battery then?

More than likely, even if you hooked the battery up backwards and smoked the ecm or something it still wouldn't affect the fan control module.
