got a silver a6, tore them off and havent noticed any damage to the car from rocks spittin up.  Just heat them up and peel slowly, no real need to be worried about removing them.

krelley, is on the right track...just heat it up preferably a hair dryer not a heat gun, you don't want to disturb the clear. If you use a heat gun becareful, remember heat for a couple of seconds then remove, repeat.

Dealer puts it on the A6s for protection, just like gravel guards. The only difference with ours is they peel off as opposed to the gravel guards which are stuck on, then painted over.

Good news! You can purchase a roll of it from any auto body supply warehouse, ask for "clear protective film" one size fits all. Trim, peel, and stick. I think 3m makes it.

Newbie here... I am so glad I found this forum, just got my A6 and was alittle worried about why it had these what looked to be stickers that were discolored.  Now I know and will most likely remove the cause they are definitely an eye sore.

Thanks all
JMo
