Default does a 96 cab have a cabin filter

I found my way into the vent intake system under the hood in front of the glove box. There was a plastic vented cover (which I removed) and nothing else down to the blower? Is this normal? Shouldn't it have a cabin filter (or is that somewhere else)?

Thanks for any help,

Marc

don't think a cabin filter would be there ... the car wasn't expensive enough at the time (1996) to get one

Default RE: does a 96 cab have a cabin filter

That's what I was thinking, but after I posted this message I searched a few car part places and they sell a cabin filter for the 96 cab! It looks pretty long and narrow if the photos are correct. I know it won't fit in the area I saw, but maybe under or behind the glove box.

Does anyone know one way or the other?

Marc
