2002 3.0 NAGGING vibration proble,! please help

Ok, I've got a really nagging vibration problem. I had my stock wheel son, and the car would vibrate when I went around 60 mph. So then I took my audi in for the 90k mile tuneup, I took it to a really good mechianic (ase certified), he fixed evyerthing and did maitence and eveyrthing for $2000. The car would not vibrate anymore, I was very happy.
So then I got new wheels, 18 inch ssw rims. I got some cheap Talon 235/40/18 tires from NTB (talons). NTB installed them, the next day I went on the highway, I had HUGE vibration problems. The car would shake uncontralbly at 50-60 mph, I had to drive 40 mph for about 20 miles till I got home.
So I took it back to ntb, and had the wheels rebalanced, now they are much better, but I still get a very slight vibration at around 60 mph.
Is there anything I can do about thsi vibration problem or should I just live with it?
I am not looking to spend any more money
SHould I go back to NTB? I don't think they can help me anymore...
I am open to any opinions and advice!
THanks

could unblaanced tires cause your car to go out of alignment? I think my tires are jsut cheap, which is why they vibrate. If I keep these tires will my car get damaged?

Cheap tires! Tires are made from a strip of material that is cut to length, wrapped into a circle then bonded together. A poor quality bonded joint will give you a vibration that you cannot do anything about other than changing tires.

Also, the larger the diameter of the wheel, the more a slight problem with a wheel will show up, including if the wheel is not centered on your hubs. When they balance the wheel, they center it on the balancer, but it may not be centered on your car.

Good luck,

Bob

no, I don't think they came with spigot rings. So I guess I am stuck with the slight vibration problem?
is this a common problem for people who have custom wheels?

+1 for the centering rings, FAQ for anyone that has custom wheels and has a vibration check to see if the wheels have the centering rings before attempting to balance them, its useless if the rings aren't there.
