Default New Guy New Problem

Hey All,

Been the happy owner of a 00 S4 for the past 10K miles. Traded an 85 911 for it. Ended up with the S4, 02 Wrx and a track 951. Had to sell something so they all went up for sale and the WRX sold first. They are all great cars and I am blessed to have driven any of them. Now to my problem.............

The S4 is a tip. When coming to a stop sign, I get a noticable tranny bang if I try to accelerate before coming to a complete stop. Can anyone offer some help?

Thanks,

Blue00S4

Default RE: New Guy New Problem

Welcome to Audi Forums Blue00S4!

Since you're new... check out the START HERE! (click this link) link to get a rundown of the lingo/vocab here at audiforums.

Then be sure to search the archives when you have a question. Chances are the question has been asked before (probably several times) and the archives will have plenty of information to answer your question. If you still need answers, please feel free to ask questions.

Don't feel intimidated; we are all a bunch of pretty cool guys (and gals). Feel free to post advice, comments, ideas, suggestions, and even pics.

Could be either the drivetrain stabilizer and/or snub mount.
