Default A3 - XM Install Missing Connection?

I've done a search for this, but have yet to find anything on it.

I have an '07 A3 and just installed the XM receiver part per the instructions posted here. Everything went exactly as documented, except that I noticed there was one connection missing. The XM receiver has the four connections in the rear (the two rectangular ones and the two round ones), but the brown round connection had nothing for me to plug into it. I was only able to see three wires that would plug into the unit. I looked in the compartment a bit to see if maybe the wire was hiding, but I couldn't see it.

Anyhow, I was able to connect the radio just fine, turned it on, and even activated it. XM sounds great.

The problem: On the display I see the word "Antennae" on the right hand side. The manual states that this means one of the wires is loose or disconnected, and I'm pretty sure it's referring to the brown round connection that was left over on my XM install. Has anyone else had a similar problem with an '07 A3 satellite receiver install, or were all four connections present?

Thanks in advance!

Found a solution: Purchase a TERK XM Splitter that will essentially allow the single plug that comes with the A3 to split into the two coax plugs that are on the receiver. It works great.

Default RE: A3 - XM Install Missing Connection?

This was probably the easiest upgrade I have ever done. I followed the same directions listed above and everything was 100% accurate. Thanks everyone. I was a little worried when it took off the passenger kick panel that I would not know what wires to connect. This was really easy there were only two and they plugged into each other.

I ordered my Terk XM SP from Amazon for about $13.00.

I was going to take some pictures but it all went to fast sorry.
