Just be carefull with VAG-COM ross-tech replika interface. I bought one and now i have problem. My radio does not work. I can turn it on, but no sound. That wire is a crappy !!! Now i need to go to dealer and spend some more $$$$ for repair. Only one think can help, buy original tool from Ross-tech (software + wire interface) by 300$ approx.

I couldn't agreed with you more. I wasted a lot of money trying to buy the cheap one from ebay, got what i paid for...they're crap. Finally bought the real thing, i dont regret it one bit.

So what software are you using with your budget cable?

Its one of the older releases of vagcom.

Definitely get the real thing. It's worth every penny, and will pay for itself the first time you use it.

hmm, i thryied to check code 56 (radio). That thing start to do something. After that i tryied to turn on my radio, but no sound. Then i reconnect again, but VAG-COM show me "No response from controller". Other functions work's great, just elektric checing fail all the time.

Your radio problem seems to be common..

I bet it is Chinese made, imported from Hong Kong. There's alsoAGV4000 Blue-Line which is made in Germany but I didn't find any distributors for this product in the US. Anyone tried it?

I was able to do the window up and down thing, but I don't have oem hids so I am not sure about that one.

I bought mine from alpha-bid.

i got same from alpha bid. Its work now for me, but i need full version. (crack does not work) :(
I can read and erase all codes. That's good for me. About that radio problem, i just pull out the fuse and plug back, radio get restart. After i put security code, radio works great like before. :)
