MTM is probably a better choice. teranenrique 08-10-2007, 11:01 AM 50% increase? 300+(300*.5)= 450 horses? WOW Costner 08-10-2007, 02:52 PM ORIGINAL: teranenrique 50% increase? 300+(300*.5)= 450 horses? WOW Yes but lets be honest.....$10,000 for 450hp? That is about $67 per horse....I don't think it would be worth it. Look at it this way - if you took a 2005 Mustang GT and added on a Procharger you would be looking at 600hp for under $6000. Granted it lacks the refinement of an A6 and the AWD, but it sure is cost effective. twinturbomew 08-10-2007, 06:59 PM there are 3 or 4 guys that are part of the vastperformance supercharger group. I think they payed about the same. but I would steer well away from motodyne. I perosonly have never delt with them but others have had very bad experences. last thing I rember hearing was that they took a car to a b6 S4 shoot out made less than stock hp.....not good costner you have a good point but a procharger is just a head unit with bracketing(supercharger mounting wise) the audi has to have a whole new intake manifold because there is no room for that type of supercharger baskin 4.2l car is sick fast I havn't seen it since the supercharger. but I would think there is going to be a 4.2l storm soon. teranenrique 08-11-2007, 11:36 PM ORIGINAL: twinturbomew I would think there is going to be a 4.2l storm soon. I would loveee to see that :DAnyways not many A6's around South Florida, even less 4.2's |
