Default need help to locate the ACC wire

where is the ACC wire or the wire code for 03 A4

I know on my '99, from what i can recall correctly, it was either the red or yellow wire. I'm sure your harness isdifferent, but i would start with those two first (if you can find them). My gut is telling me it was the red one.

i know it is the red one on the harness, but there is no red wire coming from the car

Get yourself a Digital Multi-Meter (DMM) and start testing (searching) for the switched +12VDC wire...

it is easyest to "tag" a acc from the igition harness since it is right there get a muti meter and test wires you want the one that has no power when key is off power on first click no power during start up and power after start up just be sure to install a 10amp fuse so you don't burn anything up

there was on wire i found with no power when key off, key on, 11.58v.while hooked up with HU, there only 0.3v, without hooking up, 11.58v, wrong wire

yep wrong wire also check the fuse box for blown fuses

it should read anywhere from 11.0-12.5 (without car running) with car running 12.6-14.6
