Default A6 considerations

hey guys...

just a few questions... i've been falling in luv with the audi craftsmenship for a long while and its about that time that i make the purchase... leaning more towards an a4, but i'll be looking at a6's also... i'm goin to go look at a 01 a6 tommorrow night, and if the price is right, then she shall be mine... the car has 79k on it, my question is: What should i be looking for to make sure its not a lemon? anything you guys can help me out with would be wicked...

This is a typical purchase question for Audis.
Other than the obvious issues when inspecting a car....
The timing belt should be done by now. Audis are notorious for control arm and tie rod failures. They are a weak link. They need to be constantly monitored by their owner.
