Hi all, I am new to the forum and possibly a soon-to-be Audi owner. Looking at a 2002 A6 Quattro. 65K miles. Appears to be very well maintained. Getting all maintenance records and my mechanic to go over the car. Also, may have extended 100K warranty that I need to confirm is transferable. Asking price is $14,500. The car will need new tires but otherwise looks great.
Any thoughts on what I need to look out for? Any chronic issues?
Thanks......B

IMO - You should try offering 13k, tell the seller it is to afford new tires . Just so you can compare I got an 03 with 42k miles for 16,XXX, close to 17 but I forgot, with brank new tires.
Its its a CVT don't buy that piece of s***! If its a 3.0L quattro then yes buy it.
The 3.0L engine should have its timing belt done at 80k or so, upper links should be worn out at around that time as well. The 3.0L engine is pretty solid and doesn't leak oil, so other than that good luck with the purchase.
