Default Conversion 2004 to 2007 Audi A8

Hi, I have a 2004 Audi A8 and would like to make a front end bumper conversion to 2007 Audi A8 with the big grille. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert using factory parts, not aftermarket?? Has anybody done the conversion? If yes, then where? Someone please help me get this info. Thanks.

I have a 04 also and has always been tampering with the idea of doing the conversions. I can't remember where I read it online, whether it was here or Audiworld, but a guy did the compelte grill by buying all the entire front end from the Audi dealer. He even posted the part numbers online. It was at a cost around $3,000 but the result was basically the same. If Ifind it, I will let you know.

Nice, very good car! The front end is just a little too plain after the 2006 facelift came out, that is why I wanna change the whole front end. Maybe make the front 2007 S8 if it's possible. Please let me know if you find out any info on that. Thanks buddy.

I also want this done. - Its a beautiful upgrade. - I have seen several websites that have done it for TT's - Which I'm currently in the process of doing..... but its not near as expensive as $3k. - For the TT its $1k and worth every penny.

Hopefully we can find a kit for around $1800. - $3k is obserd. - I wonder if there are some wrecked ones that got nailed in the back and on the side where you can buy the front parts used? haha. - Plastic is Plastic to me!

Here's an aftermarket kit which is from Germany, but factory is obviously better to do

Yes, the LLTEK offerings are the only aftermarket distributor for the facelift. I actually called them a couple of times already, the total is actually 3k to 4k, plus a qualified body shop who is willing to do so. Besides, you must buy the grill from Audi anyway, why not go for the rest of the genuine parts too? When it gets too expensive, its time to trade it in for an 06 A8 with the new grill.

Sounds great! I believe the headlights need to change too, right?

The headlights are different, I found everything out. It is posssible to do and a very easy conversion. All you need is a hood, bumper, grille, and headlights. I live in Moscow and I called the dealer. The price they gave me was $4800 for the whole conversion with the job. I am definitely doing it. I'll let you guys know the results.
