An audi dealership informed me that my 2.7T needs a Y boot replacement, but I am doubtful. The car performs as well as ever and the check engine light is only on half the time....I have not had time to take it by my personal mechanic, the light appeared when I was out of town. Is there any way to check this besides just looking and feeling around the Y boot? If it does need to be replaced, What aftermarket Y boots would you guys suggest? Thanks.
