Default Turbo is good?

I aint sure if should i upgrade my 1.8 with some chip or etc... When i pedal it up, slowww then varooom n nearly red line on rpm.. which it eats up my gas.. i want to just pedal it light and zoom easily than lalala for 10 sec to reach 60mph.. Also, is there anything that i can switch awd or just regular so i can save my gas? or theres nothing i can do?

I know they r somewhat common questions but eh

Thanks

Zam

Check fro a boost leak, & maybe a failing DV. It also not hurt to test the N75.

If your car is equipped with Quattro, there is no way to turn it off.
